This Dr. Hauschka body oil equips your skin with strengthening impulses from the hardy blackthorn plant, which blooms in the earliest days of spring and produces the first wild fruit of the year. All of this energy and delicacy is contained in the formulation of our Blackthorn Toning Body Oil. When applied during a massage, it serves to strengthen, warm and tone the skin. It is therefore highly recommended for use during pregnancy. The blackthorn oil can also help combat exhaustion and provides welcome support through the colder, darker seasons.

Description
Supple, toned skin depends upon skin elasticity. Blackthorn Toning Body Oil offers strengthening, warming skin care for all the family. It has even proved successful during pregnancy when it is particularly important to keep skin supple to prevent pregnancy-induced stretch marks. Blackthorn blossom and birch leaf extracts enhance skin elasticity while sun-drenched St. John’s wort and jojoba oil support the skin’s natural processes of renewal and fortification.Formulation: Blackthorn blossoms, birch leaves and St. John’s wort are combined with sunflower oil, then carefully blended using unique rhythmic processing methods. During this phase, the mixtures are heated to 37 °C – human body temperature. They are carefully mixed in the mornings and evenings to allow the properties of the nurturing plants to be transferred to the oil.

Usage Dr. Hauschka Blackthorn Toning Body Oil
Apply evenly and massage into your skin.Applying to moist skin after bathing or showering provides the most effective absorption and improves moisture retention.
Tips
For specialised massage that maintains skin elasticity, hold oiled skin between your thumb and index finger, pull it upwards slightly in a pinching motion and then release. Repeat five times per skin area. We also recommend the Body Washes, Baths and Body Moisturisers.Sustainability

General recycling information.
