Summer
Summer is the season of light and celebration. Days spent in the sun lift our spirits, lighten our hearts and provide us with essential vitamin D, but overexposure to sunlight can be dangerous for our skin.
It is as important to protect the skin on your face from the sun, as it is the skin on your body. Remember to apply a sunscreen and ideally wear a hat. If you do get sunburnt (but remember this damages your skin), pat a couple of ampoules of Rhythmic Conditioner Sensitive very gently on to the affected area. This product will help soothe and heal burnt skin. Follow with a thick layer of Rose Day Cream. Repeat throughout the day or evening as required.

Water makes up two thirds of our body, so it is essential when out in the hot sun that we keep ourselves properly hydrated; not only will we feel better, but our skin will appear softer and plumper.
Sun, sea and chlorine can all damage our hair, leaving it looking and feeling dry, brittle and frizzy. The best way to achieve healthy, shiny hair is to protect it from becoming damaged in the first place, as it is much harder to recondition damaged hair. Whenever possible cover your hair as this will help to reduce the sun damage.
However it is not always possible, or desirable to wear a hat. The next best thing is to protect your hair with a product. Applying Neem Hair Oil before exposure to the sun or salt water will provide a layer of protection.

After the shower, when your skin is still damp, apply your favourite Dr.Hauschka Body Oil as your moisturiser. Applying to damp skin means the moisture content is locked in. Lemon Lemongrass Body Oil is excellent in assisting the treatment of cellulite, so is a great way to help prepare your body before slipping into your bikini.
