Meet Sebastian Parsons, CEO of Elysia and Ambassador of Worcestershire

Date: Thursday, 1 July 2010

Our CEO, Sebastian Parsons, was the star in the Worcester News on June 23rd in its regular feature “Meet the Ambassadors”!

A group of local and influential citizens supported by the Worcestershire County Council, The Worcestershire Ambassadors’ aim is to build bridges across the region for social and economic prosperity. Its members are deeply caring and enthusiastic about the future health of the Worcestershire County, and about promoting the benefits of living and working in this beautiful countryside of middle England.

Sebastian’s interview:

Occupation: “Chief Executive of Elysia, the exclusive UK Distributor of the award-winning Dr.Hauschka brand of organic skincare and cosmetics.”

CV in brief: “Co-founder and Chief Executive of Elysia, LIV and Rush Farm. LIV is a fair trade luxury textile brand. Rush Farm is a 200-acre Soil Association and Biodynamic certified mixed farm in north Worcestershire. Together these two brands allow Elysia to make sustainable living a pleasure. I am also Chairman of the English Symphony Orchestra and the Biodynamic Agricultural Association.”

Hobbies and interests: “Philosophy, in particular anthroposophy, psychology and group relations; music, sailing and woodwork.”

I’m a Worcestershire Ambassador because.....“I’m proud to be from Worcestershire and I’m proud of what Elysia does. I love feeling a part of the community and sharing my love and pride for Worcestershire and all that it offers. That may sound a bit cheesy, but at the end of the day, it isn’t really any more complicated than that.”
