Moisturising Mask provides a creamy, intensive skin care treatment that feeds and nourishes the skin. It stays on the skins outer surface and helps balance moisture and maintain the pH balance. Suitable for exceedingly dry skin, it also offers a blanket of protection for extremely sensitive skin, which may be inflamed, raw and cracked. It works equally well for prematurely ageing or sun-damaged skin. It acts to soothe and hydrate, while rejuvenating the skins natural elasticity.

This preparation includes a wonderful blend of ingredients. Quince Seed extract has a high mucilage content that combines essential oils and fats with water - it protects and soothes the skin. It also contains anti-inflammatory properties that regulate natural moisture. Sweet Almond oil is a good source of nutrients, trace minerals and polyunsaturated linolenic acid - it is easily absorbed and highly skin compatible. Avocado oil nourishes dry skin and is rich in lecethin and vitamins. Beeswax soothes, softens and protects the skin, allowing it to breath, whilst preserving moisture. It is helpful for sensitive skin and provides consistency for the preparations emulsifying qualities. Rose wax, which is gentle and soothing in effect, brings its moisturising and softening qualities - and, of course, its wonderful aroma. Propolis wax is a natural antibiotic and anti-fungal substance, which is rich in trace elements, minerals and vitamins.

Created for intensive skin care, this mask can be used once or twice a week. Cleanse the face with Cleansing Cream and follow with Facial Toner or as a real treat, use Rhythmic Conditioner Sensitive or Rhythmic Night Conditioner. Apply the mask to the face and neck and leave for about 20-30 minutes. Remove any excess with a warm, moist cloth by gently compressing the skin. Finally, apply your normal Dr.Hauschka day care preparation.

For severely dry skin, apply a thin layer Moisturising Mask daily for a six weeks period, as this will take account of the skin's natural 28-day cycle of renewal.

Instructions for use

1. Use once or twice a week as an intensive skin care treatment.
2. Cleanse your face and apply Facial Toner (for a real treat, apply a Rhythmic Conditioner Sensitive or Rhythmic Night Conditioner instead), then apply Moisturising Pack to your face and neck (you don't need to apply it really thickly).
3. Leave for about 20-30 minutes then remove any excess with a warm, moist cloth.

Hints and Tips

• For severely dry skin, apply Moisturising Pack thinly every day for 6 weeks as a moisturiser (a 6 week period makes sure that your skin's natural 28 day cycle is completely covered in the treatment).
