Neem Hair Lotion

This versatile product is suitable for all hair conditions but works especially well with itchy, sensitive scalps. It gives strength to fine hair and softens thick hair. More information about Neem Hair Lotion

Water/Aqua: Deionised (reverse osmosis) spring water is used.
Alcohol: Plant alcohol is used as a preservative and helps firm and tone the skin. It is derived from fermentation of fruit, maize and potatoes. The quantities of alcohol in the Dr.Hauschka preparations are not sufficient to dry out the skin.
Melia Azadirachta Leaf Extract: An essence made from the leaves of this semi evergreen tree found in tropical regions. It is revered for its antibacterial, antiseptic, anti inflammatory properties.

Betula Alba Bark Extract: Birch Bark extract is obtained from wild harvested birch. This beautiful dainty tree is native to Europe and it was one of the first trees to colonise the land following the recession of the glaciers in the Ice Age. Many parts of the tree have medicinal uses. Birch bark does not rot and was traditionally used for treating skin conditions such as eczema, acne and scurf. It is used in the Neem Hair Lotion as it is effective in assiting scalp conditions.
Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract: Calendula extract is obtained from Marigolds, a familiar but beautiful plant with bright orange-yellow flowers. A native of Southern Europe, it has been grown as a garden flower and healing herb for a long time. It is particularly beneficial to wound healing and for soothing skin conditions.
Borago Officinalis Extract: The biodynamically grown flowering stems are used as a watery extract, an oily extract as well as in rhythmitized form. This annual herb has sprays of beautiful, blue star shaped flowers in Spring and Autumn. It is known for its restorative, rejuvenating qualities.
Arctium Lappa Root Extract: Burdock roots harvested in July, are used in Dr.Hauschka preparations and have wonderful healing properties. They are beneficial for conditions such as acne, eczema, psoriasis and other skin conditions. Burdock is tradiotionally used in hair preparations and helps prevent split hairs.
Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Oil
Fragrance/Parfum: A combination of specially blended, carefully chosen pure essential oils, unique for each preparation.
Linalool: This is a component of natural essential oil.
Limonene: This is a component of natural essential oil.
Geraniol: This is a component of natural essential oil.
Coumarin: This is a component of natural essential oil.
Citronellol: This is a component of natural essential oil.
